Our Story

Made with Love, Rooted in Memory

Velvet & Crisp Co. was born from something deeply personal — a memory of Taiwanese milk butter spread, the kind that made ordinary mornings feel like something special. Rich, velvety, and impossibly good on warm toast, it was the flavor of home.

When we moved to Texas, we couldn't find anything quite like it. So we decided to make it ourselves — and make it better. Using 100% grass-fed ghee as our foundation, we developed a spread that honors that Taiwanese tradition while bringing something fresh and modern to the American table.

What started as a small-batch project for family and friends has grown into something we're incredibly proud of. Every single jar is made with the same care and intention as that very first batch.
